Transforming Engineering into Marketing: 3D for Cargo Lashing Systems

Brief

Cargo Care Solutions needed a way to visualize and launch their new Cargo Lashing Systems division. They also wanted a launch video that would showcase their products in action.

The goal was clear:

  • Create high-quality visuals that highlight the quality and functionality of the new products.
  • Position Cargo Care Solutions as a serious player in a new market segment.
  • Give the sales team strong marketing assets to support outreach and customer conversations.
Solution
3D Video & Product Storytelling

To ensure a strong launch, we created a 3D video set in a real-world context. This allowed us to introduce each product while reinforcing Cargo Care Solutions’ commitment to quality.

We placed their lashing systems on a highly detailed 3D model of one of the world’s largest containerships, ensuring that every product was showcased in an environment that felt true to its function. This approach allowed us to:

  • Demonstrate real-world application by integrating the products into key sections of the ship.
  • Highlight product versatility by visually breaking down parts of the vessel to show where each lashing product was used.
  • Leverage 3D visualization to create compelling, high-quality visuals that wouldn’t be possible with traditional photography.
3D Packshots for Sales & Marketing

Alongside the 3D video, we developed a full set of 3D packshots for the entire product line. Working closely with Cargo Care Solutions engineering team, we recreated accurate textures and materials to ensure a realistic look. These renders became an essential tool for their sales team, allowing them to:

  • Present polished, high-quality product visuals to potential customers.
  • Use the images across digital, print, and marketing materials.

We transformed a simple design sketch into hyper-realistic stainless steel elements. Starting with a technical drawing provided by the client, the initial 3D models appeared as plain white plastic components within the design software. Through meticulous attention to detail, we applied advanced texturing techniques and precise light manipulation to recreate the authentic look and feel of stainless steel. The interplay of texture, reflection, and shading not only captured the material's inherent depth but also elevated the visual impact, ensuring the elements mirrored the real-life products with striking accuracy. This process highlights our commitment to delivering photorealistic 3D visuals that meet the highest standards of quality and realism.
